We got toilet papered by the Elders!

Yeah you heard that right.... on Friday we got sneak attacked by the most immature people on the planet! The college park elders. haha...ha... ha... punks. We made them clean it up don't worry hahaha. We come outside and just bust up laughing and our neighbors are like "The Brothers did it!!! " We were like "The Elders?" And they were like "No the Brothers" So we were like "The Boy missionaries" And they were like "yeah there were 3 of them" hahahahaha.
Well this week was quite a wild ride. Here are some highlights.
~We took Gigi out with us for the day and lemme tell you that girl can talk to EVERYONE. She is way better at missionary work than I am. We talked to so many amazing people!! We gave a Book of Mormon to a guy that was powerwashing
a house. We took these two 13-year-olds knocking with us, met this cool Hispanic family. Gigi flashed everyone accidentally because of a dog. What a day.
~We got the coolest referral from this guy in our ward, Sam, who's going on his mission soon. To Provo... LOL. But he had his girlfriend over for dinner and we taught her the restoration, and she said she would pray and read the Book of Mormon. And Sam took her to the temple to walk around and get his scripture and she wanted a triple combination so it was pretty crazy! She's going to come see President Nelson in June.
~ We had 2 ZTM's and it was kinda weird because I gave my departing testimony.. it's just super weird to be one of the oldest missionaries in the room. ahhhhhhh so many mixed emotions..... I think like right now I'm just trying not to feel things. But let me tell you I took some pretty epic dying pictures. (for those that don't know, I'm "dying" out of my mission so we take pictures either representing a funeral or how I died) So that was fun.
~We had a crazy experience trying to get to the temple. we were going with some members and right as we turn onto the road to the temple a few miles away, and the car broke down.. So we pushed the car out of the road and pondered what we would do. Lo and behold our stake president shows up 30 seconds later to save us. So he drove us the rest of the way to the temple. It was a tender mercy because he said he usually doesn't drive that way. So it was awesome. And Paul had a great time! He was just beaming and wanted to look at everything on the temple grounds. It was great!!
~We helped out with Sharing Time in primary where we were investigators and the kids were missionaries and we asked them questions and they sand song to answer us. It was super adorable the little 5 year olds in huge suit jackets.

So overall.. our teaching pool is still tiny so say some extra prayers. But I'm looking for the good and expressing thanks for everything good thing that God has given me. This life is a precious thing and there is beauty in the small moments. Right now, I'm happy. And that is a blessing. I love you all!!!

My cats are gods of cuteness!!

Real quote from the MVP of the week, Michael. But it's ok we talked about how we only worship God and not cats... or video games.. LOL. he's so funny. He's been a super good example at school and for his sisters. He has all of the hand signs for the commandments memorized and has been telling people not to swear.
So this week has been meetings on top of meetings. We've only been able to proselyte a grand total of 4 hours. But that's ok because our priorities are a little bit different now. We're still doing meaningful stuff for the zone it's just a different kind of missionary work.
Some Highlights for the week:
~I got a new companion Sister Jensen and she's awesome!! We get along super well and we just always have the same thoughts and it's great. She has a lot of passion for the work and I know that we're going to knock it out of the park for my last transfer. Which we really need.. because after Michael's baptism... we have 0 people to teach.. haha.. ha... so yeah we kinda have to start from scratch.. but we have big goals and know that amazing things are going to happen!
~We went to the temple with Vince!! It was super cool because it was the first time he got to use his priesthood. He brought his mom's, dad's and grandpa's names and it was very special. He said he felt super good and enjoyed himself. It was cool because Sister Jensen and I both taught him! and Gigi and Maria my homegirls drove us to the temple and we just jammed the whole time. I love those ladies it was so fun.
~Michael got baptized!!! It was super special! And we had a really good turnout.. despite the bishop's hesitation hahaha... We had like 50 people there. He was soooo excited. Which he expressed through dabbing. So enjoy a dabbing picture below haha. But it was so cool because their family is just one step closer to eternity. During the speakers, I looked over at Michael and he was just beaming and I just thought about what a good missionary he's going to be one day.
~We did candy survey at the mall and it worked really well! We had some solid conversations with lots of people! We found a couple really good potential including some Jehovah's Witness girls. It was way cool! We also found out it's illegal to do a survey at a mall without permission... haha.. oops.. but no one caught us.. but we'll be doing it at parks for now LOL.

I'm excited but intimidated by this next week. I have never in my whole mission had an empty area book. It's terrified me. But I feel like Heavenly Father has been prepping my whole mission for this. He's finally saying "Ok you've done it all, now you need to tackle your biggest fear" So here we go. But honestly, I'm feeling really hopeful. It's taken me a while to build my trust and relationship with God but I truly believe He has my best interest in mind. He wants me to have a satisfying, fulfilling mission. He wants his children to come back to him one day. He wants people to let us in. And so we can work together. I have full faith that God has one last miracle up his sleeve. So say some extra prayers and pray for that golden person that God wants us to find. Love you all!!!!

I love you guys...not like I want to marry you...just like family

That was a quote from Micaael our 10 year old kid who we're teaching. He's adorable and is going to get baptized next Sunday!! So it will be super special!!

I love Mariaaaaaaaaaa
Maria Yim is my favorite person ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Her cartwheels are incredible and her boomerang skills are even more impressive. I want to be just like her someday.
(This was typed by Maria Yim. who is indeed my favorite person)

Anyways some interesting points for the week:
~ We went mall contacting and found this lady using family history. It was pretty cool! And then the security guard got kinda stalkerish.... so we ducked into a store our members owned and hid.... so we're going to have to be more sneaky in the future...
~I got choked by a tree!!! I was biking and there was this vine and then it blew in front of my face and then i biked through it and it wrapped around my neck!
~Our district is the best! We were feeling kinda down one night so our district leader got us a blue slurpie and the sisters heart-attacked us. It was super nice. Holy cow I love those guys!
~My homegirls Gigi and Maria came to the chapel today for pday to hang out!!! It was the best day. ugh I love them. I missed them so much!!!
~I went on 2 exchanges! One with Sister Olsen and the other with Sister Mudrow. They both did amazing!! wowza. I was so impressed they were both in training but seemed very composed and knew their areas well. I was happy to just sit back and enjoy the ride.

I'm slowly loosing motivation to write this weekly by the moment but know that I am doing well and life is great! I can't believe that I'm going into my last transfer. I'm getting super sad. There are so many things that I'm realizing are going to be my lasts and it bums me out... but I'm also excited to see what this last transfer holds in store for me and the miracles that will pour down from heaven. I love you all so much and hope to hear from you soon!!
Oh also I'm getting a new companion! Her name is Sister Jensen and we've both served in Daytona Beach and Canoe Creek so we'll have lots to talk about!! I'm excited!!!
